Cyber Essentials
Control IT Solutions are approved consultants to help your business through the process of achieving certification and gain your accreditation. We will help you understand and implement the cybersecurity requirements to get your accreditation. We will assist you with your systems and make sure that they are configured correctly before our Assessors do the final checks for you to gain your certification. Our Security Partner, Net-Defence who is a Cyber Essentials Practitioner and Implementer will do the final assessment of your systems to make sure you are eligible for accreditation/certification of either Cyber Essentials Level 1 and Cyber Essentials Plus.

What is Cyber Essentials?
Cyber Essentials helps your organisation or business guard against the most common cyber threats and demonstrates your commitment to cyber security. Cyber Essentials is a Government backed and industry supported certification for businesses run by the Information Assurance for Small and Medium Enterprises (IASME)
Why Should I get a Cyber Essentials Certificate?
By implementing cybersecurity controls in your organisation, you will increase efficiency throughout your business, saving you money and improving productivity. A Cyber Essentials or Cyber Essentials Plus badge will enhance your business’s reputation and open new commercial opportunities by proving to your customers that you take the security of their information seriously and are taking the necessary steps to reduce cyber risks.
How long does it last for?
The certification lasts for a year and must be renewed annually to maintain validation. The process will be the same but not as length if you are keeping up with the security controls that were put in place initially.
